Custom visuals made for the album release of Sister May
Sister May reached out to us to create custom visuals for their whole set, where every visuals was linked to the meaning of that song.
CASE STUDY Format: Multi-band festival night Focus: Worldbuilding + visual identity + atmosphere Built for: Readability in live environments with stage lights Made with: Unreal Engine The world: For this project, the worldbuilding was about making each scene feel like its own place - with its own lighting, atmosphere, and mood -while keeping the visuals legible in real-world stage conditions. Each scene was layered using Unreal Engine's sublevels, gradually building up the world with each bands visual identity to give it a distinct character. To add life to otherwise static frames, ambient particles and water were used to keep scenes breathing. What we built: - Custom logo tool to increase the speed of clean models creation. - Scene-by-scene lighting and atmosphere builds (Unreal base tools) to differentiate worlds quickly. - Playlist + custom code approach for sublevel + lighting level control (foundation for scalable show control). - Quick previs via blockout to align expectations and speed up client clarity.
